Abstract

Masalah pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah sistem peningkatan peran widyaiswara dalam membangun Corporate  University pada sektor publik, dengan memilih Lembaga Administrasi Negara (LAN) sebagai lokus penelitian. Widyaiswara adalah jabatan fungsional yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dimanfaatkan dalam membangun Corporate University (Corpu). Metode penelitian Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) dipilih untuk mengungkapkan realitas dan aktualitas peran widyaiswara LAN pada Corpu LAN selama ini, sebagai dasar untuk mengonstruksi sebuah model konseptual peningkatan peran widyaiswara LAN pada Corpu LAN ke depan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model peran widyaiswara LAN pada Corpu LAN saat ini masih perlu dikembangkan agar dapat lebih optimal berkontribusi terhadap Corpu LAN. Untuk itu, penelitian ini mengonstruksi sebuah model konseptual peningkatan peran widyaiswara LAN pada Corpu LAN. Model konseptual ini berisikan delapan kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk squad team dengan pejabat fungsional lainnya yang dipimpin oleh pimpinan unit kerja. Model konseptual ini dapat berjalan dengan baik apabila ditopang oleh dimensi soft system dimana widyaiswara LAN terlebih dahulu perlu membangun mindsetnya agar bisa mengapresiasi Corpu LAN, mau bekerja secara sungguh, dan mau “berkorban” untuk Corpu LAN.
