Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the application of Jigsaw type quantum learning and cooperative learning models in Level IV Leadership Training in South Sumatra Province. The study used an unrelated two-sample experimental design, namely the control class and the experimental class. Primary data, in the form of learning achievement values measured at the end of the learning process and learning attitudes in both classes were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that the quantum learning model and cooperative learning type jigsaw were more effective than conventional models. This was demonstrated by the application of quantum learning methods and cooperative learning type jigsaw significantly higher than conventional models, both in the value of learning achievement (z=-6,529; Sig.=0,000) and in learning attitudes (z=-8,017: Sig.=0,000). This research has contributed to the learning of Level IV Leadership Training on integrity material using innovative learning models of quantum learning and cooperative learning type jigsaw.Keywords: learning effectiveness, leadership training, quantum learning, cooperative learning jigsaw type.
