Abstract

The situation of shifting the human workforce towards digitization is a form of challenge that also needs to be responded by the world of higher education by increasing the competence of graduates especially in terms of mastery of computer technology, communication skills, the ability to collaborate collaboratively, and the ability to continue learning and adaptive to change. Institute of Administrative Sciences State Administration (STIA LAN) Jakarta as one of the tertiary institutions and developed by Kemenristekdikti, is also required to be able to adapt to the demands of the development of the industrial revolution era 4.0. Educational patterns that lead to standardizing the number of subjects taken and applying a teacher-centered approach to instructing students in the learning process are no longer relevant in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The research, which uses qualitative descriptive methods and the results of comparative studies on the Gadjah Mada University Vocational School and the Employment Polytechnic, found that every tertiary institution, including official tertiary institution, must be a disruptive innovation motor capable of changing mindsets, ways of working organizations, productivity, discipline , innovation. progressive, open to change, aggressive in making breakthroughs to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Teaching methods, curricula, and materials that support the creation of new skills and knowledge are not only applicable in the industry, but also in tertiary institutions with a certificate of competence required for lecturers and students.Keywords: Industrial Revolution 4.0., MSDMA Study Program, STIA LAN Jakarta.
