Abstract

The learning process during pre-service training is expected to be able to increase insight and knowledge as PNS so that it can encourage PNS to perform professionally, have high integrity and commitment which is implemented into work commitments. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of age and learning outcomes on the work commitment of CPNS Grade III K1 / K2 Pre-service Training Participants in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in 2019. The study was conducted on 356 participants of Pre-service training. Data collection tools used were documentation of participant learning outcomes evaluation and a Geogle Form questionnaire for work commitment variables. Technical analysis of data using SPSS version 16.0 for windows to describe respondents (univariate analysis), bivariate analysis using Pearson correlation and regression and multivariate using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results showed the average age was 48.66 years (95% CI: 48.37-48.94 years), the average learning outcome was 83.58 (95% CI: 82.98-84.17) and the average work commitment is 54.15 (95% CI: 53.74-54.55). Based on correlation and age regression tests do not have an influence on work commitment (p value 0.172) and learning outcomes have an influence on work commitment (p value = 0,000). Based on a concurrent test between age and learning outcomes on work commitments as well, learning outcomes have a positive and significant influence and contribute 28.7% to work commitments with the regression equation being Work Commitment = 23,357 + 0,368 learning outcomes. This means that each increase in learning outcomes 1, the work commitment of CPNS Grade III K1 / K2 Pre-service Training in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in 2019 will increase by 0.368.Keywords: age; learning outcomes; work commitment
