2. How to Write the Title, Name, and Author's Address

  • Title: Centered alignment, top of first page.
  • Author Name (no degree): Centered alignment, below title.
  • Affiliation Address: Centered alignment, below author name.
  • Spacing: 2 lines between title and author name, 2 spaces between affiliation and abstract.
  • Keywords: Below abstract, alphabetical order, max 3-5 words separated by semicolons.
  • Corresponding Author: Identified first, followed by other authors.

3. The Manuscript General Guidelines

  • Original research not published elsewhere.
  • Language: English or Bahasa Indonesia (standard).
  • Format: JGG template, A4 paper, specific margins.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Word count: 5,000-7,000 words (including figures, tables, references).
  • Plagiarism-free.
  • Submission: Online Submission System (OJS) on the JGG e-journal portal.

4. The Guidelines for the Manuscript Body Text

  • Title: Informative, concise, clear, single interpretation.

  • Abstract: Max 250 words, 3-5 keywords (alphabetical).

    • Includes: Research objective, methods, results, conclusion, limitation (optional).
    • Font: Times New Roman, 1 space line, 12pt.
  • Introduction: Briefly explains:

    • Background
    • New research question
    • Main research problems/hypothesis
    • Purpose of the article
  • Theoretical Framework: Literature review as research basis.

    • Links theories/literature to research context.
    • Shows novelty of the article.
  • Methods: Explains research conduct:

    • Research design
    • Data collection
    • Research instruments
    • Analytic methods
  • Analysis (Findings & Discussion): Presents and discusses research results.

    • Results supported by sufficient data.
    • Connects results to research questions/hypothesis.
  • Conclusion: Includes:

    • Conclusions (answers to research questions/hypothesis)
    • Research purposes/discoveries
    • Limitations & Recommendations
  • Acknowledgement: Optional (to research supporters - not family/supervisors)

  • References: Lists all references used.

    • Primarily from scientific journals (at least 80%) published in the last 10 years.
