Abstract

Daerah pedesaan sering kali diabaikan dalam kebijakan pembangunan, dan bagaimana upaya sebelumnya untuk mengalihkan kekuasaan ke tempat-tempat ini (melalui tata kelola pedesaan yang terdesentralisasi) sebagian besar gagal karena masalah seputar kurangnya transparansi, legitimasi, dan kepercayaan. Teknologi Blockchain disajikan sebagai solusi potensial dan kasus penggunaan yang diterapkan di daerah pedesaan, termasuk bagaimana DAO dapat digunakan dalam tata kelola pedesaan. Keterbatasan mengenai pengembangan dan adopsi teknologi baru ini juga diangkat dan didiskusikan. Karena ada permintaan untuk solusi terdesentralisasi tetapi kurangnya mekanisme yang tersedia, daerah pedesaan dapat dilihat sebagai skenario kasus terbaik yang tampaknya menjadi area utama bagi pengembang dan peneliti blockchain untuk menggunakan dan menerapkan Blockchain di pemerintahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi penggunaan blockchain dalam meningkatkan pembangunan desa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kapasitas kebijakan, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi potensi penggunaan blockchain. Hasilnya, peningkatan tata kelola pembangunan desa sangat dimungkinkan dengan blockchain. DAO dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan transparansi masyarakat pada pembangunan desa. Dibutuhkan komitment pada proses optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi.
